Living a Tarot Inspired Life: The Hero's Journey: the 28th of November 2026
The concept and pursuit of "The Hero's Journey" is really a commitment towards self actualisation and gaining enough self knowledge to understand ourselves and to be able to bring our best selves to the world. As a system of divination The Tarot may be used as a reliable and faithful companion our unique life's journey, opening doors to revelation and potential. The Tarot may also give us a heads up, what will happen if we take one path as opposed to another?
? how can we utilise our hidden strengths to be comfortable in our skin, to bring our best gifts? To walk our best path?
In this unique workshop Living a Tarot Inspired Life: The Hero's Journey, Diviner Kal and Spiritual Practitioner Wendy Erlick have combined their skills and knowledge to create a space which will allow You strengthen your Tarot Reading Skills and to be able to use the Tarot confidently. The workshop is suitable for those who are new to the Tarot and more experienced Practitioners.

Diviner Kal
Kal is an experienced tarot reader of 12 years, fortune teller and folk witchcraft practitioner who grew up on the edge of the Peak District. He was always drawn to the world of magic ever since he was young, and has gradually developed a particular passion for studying and collecting different divination methods. He reads at Watkins Books and Dragonfly Lifestyle in London.
Kal’s first milestone on the path came when he was gifted his first tarot deck on his 14th birthday. Since then he has continuously studied and practiced reading the cards for himself and those around him, and believes the tarot to be a powerful tool which opens the way to profound psychological insight and spiritual revelation. The cards facilitate intuitive thinking, and often guide us to a solution that we already know in our subconscious. Kal himself has greatly benefitted from tarot readings throughout his life and really enjoys helping others to explore the cards, helping them shape their own futures with confidence.
In his tarot readings, Kal usually uses a traditional tarot spread to provide a complete overview of your current circumstances or your question of choice, including internal and external influences, goals, challenges, and advice for moving forward and facing the future with confidence. Kal particularly enjoys drawing on historical sources to provide readings that feel authentic and grounded in tradition.
Workshop Leader :
Wendy Erlick is an Author, Angel Channeller, Bi-Aura Energy Healer, Theta Healer, Intuitive Coach and Tarot Reader. Before becoming a Spiritual Practitioner, Wendy was a director of her consultancy working as a Fundraiser and Project Manager. She raised more than £2 million to help people live more abundant lives. Wendy has been practising the art of divination professionally since 2009 and has been Watkins Books' in-house Angel Channeller and Intuitive Coach Since 2013. Wendy was a regular columnist for Kindred Spirit Magazine. She teaches energy management to assist everyone. Her speciality and passion are in divination, energy clearing and manifestation, working at the level of the highest potential to help you bring your gifts to the world - attract and create the life that you wish to lead on earth.
Save The Date: The Workshop will take place on Saturday 28th of November 2026 between 11am-4 pm with extra time for add on readings
Venue: The Workshop will be delivered from St Martin's Lane, London WC2H 0DH ( just around the corner from Watkins Books). It is a large airy room (there is a glimpse of it in the photo above) in a Mansion Block that is surprisingly peaceful, considering the busyness outside. The ambience of the room has been described as 'magical'. Fun and laughter are considered integral.
Refreshments and Lunch.
Tea and coffee are provided throughout the day and lunch is also provided, although there are many venues available on the doorstep if this is preferred. Full joining instructions will be provided once a place has been booked. Transport: The nearest Tube is Leicester Square, although Charing Cross is also nearby. Returns: Policy Non-Refundable, due to small numbers. There are no more than 7 other participants (8 in total). If you have to cancel, we will do our best to offer you a place at a subsequent workshop without cost.
