For an adventure; Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

Gratitude List 24/10/26
Watkins has developed a new poster featuring all of their in-house readers. For being included as part of the 'Watkins Team', indeed I am grateful. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I am decluttering. In pursuit of that aim I lugged a large suitcase full of limited edition lithographs featuring Matisse, Picasso among others and Josh's cheerful prints to the Charing Cross Collectors Market. Flo came with me. For an adventure; Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
This market takes place in an underground car park by the Embankment Tube Station. The stamp and coin collectors world is a different world to the esoteric world. In common there is is kindness. For being made to feel welcome: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Flo had her own blue blanket to protect her from the concrete floor. She wore her red collar and lead which have the instructions "Do Not Pet". And a bowl of water. And treats. For the companionship and patience of Flo: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I was fascinated by everyones enthusiasm and by the number of coins and stamps, each. a mini work of art, capturing 'this day, this place, this time'. For the pure ingenuity and creativity of the human race. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
One person asked me what I collected. I explained that I was a Tarot reader. He looked at me with abject horror. It made me laugh. I praised his enthusiasm for stamps and he relented a little. For finding common ground. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Although I took very little money, I do not consider that this was a day in which I 'made a loss'. This is because I was made to feel that I was among friends. For innate goodness of heart. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I packed up at 2.30 pm and came back out from the Underworld into the rain. My suitcase was heavy and so was the rain. I passed by people living in the street out of their suitcases and sincerely counted all of my blessings. For a home and for shelter (for everyone). Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
My way home took me via St Georges Cafe where I invested in a loaf of very good sour dough bread and half a pound of excellent french butter, and chatted with the staff. For all that this encapsulated:Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I walked past Cecil Court with renewed gratitude for my life. Then I reached the door to my block, pulled the suitcase up the flight of stairs to my flat and collapsed on to my day bed. Great and many are my riches. I am saying this in humble sincerity. For my life and my work: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
