Gratitude List 6/6/26

1. St Martins Lane is quite chaotic at the moment. Drilling is taking place and there are small sites of activity dotted here and dotted there. My clients are kind to me. We grit our teeth against the notice and put on a bright face. "Despite everything we can still do deep work!" Perhaps I am a truly seasoned city person, I almost find it endearing. For Chaos that is reaced by order: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

2. Ah the rain. The streets are full of reflections. I too am reflective. For clarity of vision: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

3. Despite the rain, there are still lots of people around, with umbrella's, bouyant and energetic. As I walk out with Flo, she has blessings bestowed upon her. Endearments: "Hello sweetie", "Ah You are beautiful". "Lovely Dog". For the opportunity to bask in the glory of Flo: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

4. The building where I live was evacuated today. The alarms resonated throughout conveying urgency and shrieking :Get OUT! We made our way to the street. The fire brigade came reliably, tested everything and sent us back in. For the infrastructure and stability offered in my day to day life by the Police, By the Fire Brigade and Ambulance service: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

5. A friend came for coffee this morning. I offered Him porridge. Alas I burnt it!There is nothing worse than the slight tinge of burn in porridge!! For a chance to visit the land of the three bears and for a loving and tolerant friend: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

6. Now I have a photo of my granddaughter as an embryo. I look at this photo where she is sucking her thumb and cannot contain my tears. How can I even process such a miracle? And she is borne with such grace and gratitude by her parents. I have not heard her mother Mindy, complain even once. She says that its a privilege to grow her. For the power of the womb and for Mindy (and Josh): Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

7. I met another friend for lunch. I see her each week more or less. Its taken me five years to rebuild local friendships in my neighbourhood, after leaving Totnes. I treasure these friendships. A friend makes all the difference to my day. For Love: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

8. Last night I made Friday Night Dinner, Zack is here this weekend. For Blessings and for the sanctity of Prayer: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

9. Clients arrived yesterday and today. They also feel like a miracle. Each time I am able to offer my work I feel blessed by trust. This is because I regard each session is a liminal space, I have absolutely no idea what will arrive. But each time the guidance comes. I am never let down. For the support of spirit to carry out my work. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

10. I absolutely know and understand that this gratitude practice is essential for me. Without it I sink. Last year was difficult and whilst it still contained joy I found it hard to write. For the return of my words: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
